WHAT'S MY WORTH

I'm having a hard time figuring out the perfect starting price for clients.  I've actually just dropped my pricing and I think it's quite a decent starting price.  It's been about a week, I've had a few inquiries but nothing serious.  I get it, I only have engagements under my belt and I don't have any weddings to show.  So how are they to know if they like my work.

I think what it comes down to is a big break.  Which is actually coming up in 2018.  I've booked a small wedding in May and another larger wedding in October.  I'm really hoping that getting these weddings under my belt will really help me start the ball rolling.  They are both paid gigs which is quite exciting for me.  Mind you both at a discounted price, which is totally fine but I'm hoping that these experiences will helping me find my worth.  I mean, I know my worth but I'd like for others to see it too.

I've heard a couple of different things.  Charge as much as you want right off the bat but make sure you balance it out by giving something out for free.  Or just give out my services for free all together.  At least for a few couples to get the experience.
